Birth Doula
Giving Birth with the Support of a Doula
Giving birth is one of the most profound moments in a woman's life. It is powerful, vulnerable, and deeply transformative. As a doula, I am here to offer emotional and practical support throughout pregnancy and birth. No matter where, how, or with whom you choose to give birth, my focus is entirely on you and your unique needs. With calm presence, experience, and attentiveness, I support you in feeling confident and empowered to make your own decisions.
During pregnancy, we meet several times to explore what feels right for you and how I can best support you (and your partner, if applicable). We talk about the power of birth, possible fears or concerns, and I can guide you in creating a birth plan. As your birth approaches, I am available for you around the clock and will come whenever you need me. I will stay by your side throughout the entire birth, holding space so that you can birth with confidence.
Afterwards, we meet again to reflect on your birth experience and the first weeks of parenthood.

"Having Nadia as our Doula was like having a second mother and wise woman through this adventure of pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Well informed, emotionally supported, practically guided. Having a solid rock to reach out to and receive loving care, reflection and advise made this experience a more grounded and supported one." - Sia, förstagångsmamma
Booking Birth Doula support - step by step

After our meeting, you can take some time to reflect. If you decide to move forward, we'll sign an agreement.

Once the booking is confirmed, we'll schedule our next meetings—usually 2–3 sessions to prepare together for your birth.

Two weeks before your due date, my on-call period begins. From then on, I'm available for you around the clock, and we'll stay in close contact as birth approaches.

When labor becomes more intense and you need support, I'll come to you or your chosen birth place. I'll remain by your side for the entire birth.

A couple of weeks after birth, we'll meet again to talk about your experience and the first steps into parenthood.
